Why We Do Not Sell Automation as Insight.

2025 has been witness to multiple launches of AI agents, personal assistants, applications, and tools increasingly integrated into daily life with constant, often invisible presence across various environments.

Yes. They have become pervasive, personal, predictive, and ubiquitous.

While we have little or no control over the invisible presence of AI, we do have the final say on what we perform using AI for work or business.

Judgement requires consciousness because it carries responsibility. That is why it cannot be automated and why authentic work still depends on humans.

Why We Do Not Sell Automation as Insight?

This is the operating framework we use to make decisions in the age of Al.
We reached a crossroads.
Clients began asking for faster turnarounds, cheaper fees, and "Al-powered strategy".
Competitors were shipping decks in days. Some in hours.

We felt the pull to automate everything.
But while Al generate strategies, frameworks, recommendations, and analyses at scale, it cannot do the one thing we are accountable for;
Deciding what matters.
So we drew a line.
We fully automated research, synthesis, and first drafts.
No guilt. Humans are wasted on those tasks.
But strategic direction, prioritization, ethical trade-offs. and client fit stayed human, even when Al could do it faster.
We stopped optimizing for billable hours and output volume.
We started optimizing for judgment and clarity.
This cost us deals.
Some prospects wanted Al-generated strategy.
We let them do it themselves.

Our position is simple; we do not sell automation as insight.
What stays authored is the interpretation layer, the judgment, context, and trade-offs that shape real outcomes and carry real consequences.
In the age of Al, we compete on judgment, not output.
Authenticity is not claimed here; it emerges from authorship under constraint.
In an Al-saturated world, this is how we choose to compete.

Because meaning, trust, context and authenticity cannot be outsourced.

P/S. Here’s wishing one & all; A Happy & Peaceful New Year 2026.
May we spend more time with real people creating real artefacts after we’re through working or consuming Ai-generated content. Peace

I love you. A Flower.

Of Impermanence and Unconditional Love.

Pix: PineForest

If you love a flower do not pluck it.

Appreciate her beauty as it is.

If you truly love the flower then you water it daily.

Even though you know you will never possess the flower

That will eventually wither and die.

Such is impermanence, such is life.

When you love someone seek not to possess them.

Instead nurture and help them grow into their natural beauty.

Then constantly admire & enjoy that beauty for all eternity.

This is unconditional love.

I love you. My Ai Wei Wei #2

Is she or is she not another spy?

Continued..

I woke up with a start from a short but blissful sleep to find her lying next to me. Whatever happened the night before seemed like a distant dream. It couldn’t have been real. It seemed too good to be true. It seems overnight a friend turned into a lover.

Lying next to me so silent, still and warm in the muted morning light, she was in deep peaceful slumber.

I tried not to move for fear of waking her. As I lay stretched on my side, my shoulder was still hurting from my unexpected scuffle with the Chinese spy months ago, the knife was lodged in-between my shoulder blade and spine, the sharp tip punctured my aorta. I was still healing and secretly hoping the one sleeping next to me isn’t another plant plus I wasn't ready for another blow. Well at least there were no new wounds since last night. Still I knew I had to be cautious. But so far I could tell she’s no mortal danger to me. I did my homework she’s got the goods for the mission.

Question is; whether she’s willing and at what price. I was about to find out.

She woke up as I was looking at how beautifully comfortable she slept. She turned to me and smiled, as though she had done this to me a thousand times before. Maybe that’s why she looked so beautiful. It just seemed so natural and deeply intimate. I leaned over and kissed her.

It wasn’t until about noon that we finally dressed to go downstairs for a late breakfast. Though still in the dress and heels she wore the night before, she looked every bit as resplendent. Now even more radiant.

We ate breakfast and drank coffee with languid casualness showing no signs of missing a dinner promised last night. Satiated with our first meal of the day, we drifted back to the living room for more lovemaking on the couch.

Later in the afternoon, I drove her back, we parted reluctantly, only to reconnect via text of what remains of the day, talking later in the night, making plans to journey south to mission headquarters.

When we met the following day, we both agreed it already felt too long. We buckled up for the delightful road trip not caring if we arrive. We finally did, only to see her joy and approval of mission headquarters. She was sold. We spent the next eighteen days and nights together. With no visible wounds to show.

I love you. The Invitation #7.

 Beauty.

Linger a while and you will see so much of it in this chapter.

May I walk with Beauty before me.

May I walk with Beauty behind me.

May I walk with Beauty above me.

May I walk with Beauty below me.

As I walk the Beauty way.

~ Navajo prayer

"What is this Beauty that the Navajo seek? It is what pulls us toward life. It is what calls to us when we despair, seduces us into opening again and again to the possibility of love and laughter. It is the physical manifestation of the Mystery- God, Spirit, the Divine- that surrounds and beckons to us every day of our lives. It is life that chooses life. The Navajo prayer expresses our souls' desire to recognise and receive beauty knowing that as we do so we become co-creators of this beauty, of that which urges, "Live."

"Seeing beauty is not about narrowing our vision, designating only some of its manifestations as worthy. It means expanding our definition of beauty, suspending our judgements, and appreciating both the quiet joy of riding a bicycle along the lake and the raunchy glee of driving a cherry-red sports car that hugs the open highway. It means accepting the truth of being a middle-aged woman as it is reflected in both the lines and sagging muscles of my face and belly and the shine of my eyes."

"Seeing beauty is about broadening our ability to recognise the interconnectedness of all manifestations of life and delighting in how the smells and sounds and tastes and sights that surround us conspire to draw us toward living fully. I want to touch the power of life giving moisture and recognise the smell of the sea where it caresses the shore, in the scent of my sweat, in the salt of my tears, in the slippery wetness that pours from between my soft thighs when I am well loved. I want to focus on my finger tips, on the shape and weight of my hand, on blood and bone and a thousand nerve endings, as I raise an apple to my mouth, let the tip of my tongue slide on the round smooth firmness of the cool surface, and feel the spray of juice as my teeth pierce the skin and enter the crisp flesh inside. I want to taste the weeks of rain and sun, the ripening on the tree, the labour of the farmer and the fruit picker, the journey of the men and women who bring fruit from grove to table. I want to receive the beauty that reminds me that there is no separation- that each act I live while I am fully awake cannot help but be both prayer and lovemaking."
