Last year we sat around in a somewhat similar configuration except it was a villa in Seminyak, Bali.
This year we celebrated Christmas with the Levers at the Taman Tun house with turkey roasted to perfection by Agnes and carved with old school expertise and military precision by Nigel Lever.
Dinner was very traditional and authentic English fare prepared lovingly and meticulously by Ann assisted by domestic helper Angel.
The presents followed after the irresistible dessert of ice cream or cream caramel on deliciously aged fruit cake that can only be flawlessly executed by Peggy. Needless to say, the person with the highest haul of X'mas presents was Ann being the darling of the ball and belle of the holidays. Music to set the Christmas mood was courtesy of Summer's playlist played through Hanim's snazzy new red bluetooth speakers. I was the most blessed, just needing only to fully appreciate the good food and fine beverage all night long.
